DescribeD by many as the father of British neo-soul and one of the greatest soul music talents the UK has ever produced, we’ve been a fan of Omar (Omar Lye-Fook), soul-singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist since his debut single “There’s Nothing Like This” released on Gilles Peterson’s Label Talking Loud way back in 1991.

While his notOriety remains elusive to many across the pond, his work has not gone unnoticed by many of his soul contemporaries like Erykah Badu, Carleen Anderson, Syreeta Wright, Common, Angie Stone, Leon Ware, Lamont Dozier, and Stevie Wonder (a fan of Omar’s since the beginning) who he’s collaborated with across a 30+ year career.

This poster is inspired by the single and video “Dancing”, co-produced by legendary UK Garage producer Zed Bias that captures the sweaty, intimate, house party, fam-jam atmosphere and a sound that continues to stand the test of time.
